Rent a house
On our website you will find daily updated lists of available properties. Respond unlimitedly to options that appeal to you and plan viewings without obligation for homes that suit you perfectly.
What can you expect from us?
Interested in a house
- If you are interested after the viewing, you should express your interest by e-mail before 5pm the next day.
- If the landlord has chosen to enter into an agreement with you, you must submit the following documents for inspection and assessment:
- valid identification (passport or ID card or driving licence) AND
- If you are employed: three recent pay slips + print screen of deposit of your salary + employer's statement
- If you work as a self-employed person: Registration with the Chamber of Commerce, most recent income tax return
- If you are a student: school registration + sponsor of resident in NLD + his or her payslip and identification.
- The income requirement varies per property and depends on the rent.
- After consultation with and agreement of the owner of the property, a rental agreement will be drawn up and a privacy statement signed by tenant, landlord and W voor Wonen.
Deposit
- A deposit of 1 month's rent and a minimum period of 1 (one) year generally apply to each property. A different period can only be agreed in consultation with the landlord.
- The rent and deposit must be credited to the relevant accounts before the key will be handed over.
- The key transfer usually takes place in the leased property. An inspection report will be drawn up to clearly identify any defects for both parties.
- The deposit will be returned by the letting party, which is designated as the landlord in the tenancy agreement, after notice and correct handover of the property and if there are no rent arrears. Correct delivery means that no damage has been done to the property and no things have been changed to the property without the landlord's consent. All properties should be delivered with neutral paintwork (walls, ceilings, woodwork) and without damage to e.g. laminate floors, carpets, windows etc.
