We always talk about the basic rent according to the home valuation system (or points counting).
For you as a home seeker this means the following:
Do you want to rent a home with a maximum basic rent of € 808.06?
Then your income may not exceed: €44,035 gross per year (1 person) or €48,625 gross per year (2 or more persons).
If the home has 136 or more points, it falls into the private sector.
The landlord may determine the rental price himself BUT does the property have a maximum of 185 points in accordance with the points count? Then you ALSO need to apply for a housing permit!
Do you want to rent a home with a maximum basic rent of 185 points (€ 1,015.31)?
(note that the requested rent may be higher, e.g. € 1,100)
Then your gross annual income may not exceed:
Income for 1 person household: max € 57,573 gross per year
Income for a multi-person household: max € 76,764 gross per year
The description of each home offered by us clearly states when a housing permit must be applied for.
